-
Young swamp monkeys have the ability to emit a chirpy sound. This sound indicates alarm and allows the parent to be aware of its offspring’s danger level.
-
Because these monkeys have webbed fingers and toes, they are very good at swimming. They can dive into water to escape predators.
-
These monkeys will remove dead skin and bugs from each other's coat as a ocial bond and to keep free of disease/infections.
-
In the wild, swamp monkeys look for food in small groups. ("Power in numbers")
